Description

A hearty and delicious breakfast casserole made with biscuits, gravy, and plenty of sausage.


Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuits
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 can sausage gravy

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned; drain the excess fat.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  4. Cut the biscuits into quarters and place them in a greased baking dish.
  5. Pour the cooked sausage over the biscuits, followed by the egg mixture and topping with cheese.
  6. Spread the sausage gravy over the top.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the casserole is set and the biscuits are golden brown.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
