Delicious meatballs made with a blend of ground meats, served with a rich gravy.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 lb ground pork
- 1/4 cup almond flour
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 tsp allspice
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Parsley, to garnish
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, almond flour, egg, heavy cream, allspice, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into small meatballs.
- In a skillet, cook the meatballs over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter and stir in the heavy cream, beef broth, and Dijon mustard. Cook until the sauce thickens.
- Return the meatballs to the skillet and coat them in the gravy. Simmer for a few minutes before serving, garnished with parsley.
Notes
- This recipe is great for meal prep as meatballs can be made in advance and frozen.
- Feel free to substitute turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
