Description

This Spicy Garlic Parmesan Grilled Shrimp with Lemon-Herb Aioli is a bold, smoky, low-carb dish perfect for summer grilling. Juicy shrimp marinated in olive oil, garlic, Parmesan, and spices are grilled to perfection and paired with a creamy lemon-herb aioli for dipping.

For the Shrimp:
  • 1.5 lbs large shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 3 tbsp olive oil

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

  • Lemon wedges for serving
    For the Lemon-Herb Aioli:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise

  • 1 garlic clove, finely grated

  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

  • 1 tsp lemon zest

  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill or parsley

  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  • 1. In a bowl, whisk olive oil, garlic, Parmesan, red pepper flakes, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss with shrimp and marinate 15–60 min.

  1. Mix all aioli ingredients in a small bowl; chill.

  2. Preheat grill to medium-high. Thread shrimp on skewers.

  3. Grill shrimp 2–3 minutes per side until pink and slightly charred.

  4. Serve hot with aioli and lemon wedges.

Notes

  1. – For extra spice, add cayenne to the marinade or aioli.

  • Use a grill basket for easier cooking.

  • Aioli can be made ahead and stored up to 5 days.

  • Substitute Greek yogurt for a lighter dip.
