- 1 pound ground beef
- 12 ounces spaghetti
- 1 can crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot, cooking until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the crushed tomatoes, beef broth, heavy cream, spaghetti, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer.
- Cover and cook for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the spaghetti is tender.
- Remove from heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
Notes
- This dish can be topped with extra Parmesan cheese for added flavor.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
